Performance
The Sacrament of Penance II is an interactive performance in which participants can call the Gatekeeper’s office at Berlin Art University to confess their sins via telephone. The call is answered by the Gatekeeper, whose task is to listen to the confession and offer thoughtful advice. Instead of traditional verbal prayers, the artistic priests will assign conceptual and meaningful performance tasks as penance.
